About Us

Who We Are

Muslim Corpers Association of Nigeria (MCAN) as the acronym implies is a religious body under the National Youth Service Corper's (NYSC) Scheme established in 1978, registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) since 1994 and affiliated with the Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) since 2018, a sister body to other Muslim Organisations across the Federation.

To build a united, spiritually conscious and socially responsible generation of Muslim Corper's members and alumni who uphold Islamic values, serve humanity with excellence and contribute positively to the moral and national development of Nigeria.

To provide a supportive, faith-centred and welfare-driven platform for Muslim Corper's members across Nigeria by nurturing their spiritual growth, safeguarding their rights and wellbeing, promoting ethical leadership, strengthening unity within the Ummah and engaging in impactful Da'wah and humanitarian services during and beyond the National Youth Service year.
